We as consumers in South Africa have got use to no service and over the past two weeks I experience a total different scenario, Pamela was helpful answered all questions immediately and in no time all was approved and paid into our account.

Excellent Service

I would like to take this time to thank Pamela Fleming Specialist Home loan Consultant, of Clear water Mall for her excellent service and assistance.
We as consumers in South Africa have got use to no service and over the past two weeks I experience a total different scenario, Pamela was helpful answered all questions immediately and in no time all was approved and paid into our account.

Yes, the design of this brach is beautiful and looks amazing from a distance, however, the staff at the tellers are completely incompetent. Customer service is not at all a priority and they are just so SLOW to help. I stood in a queue of more than 10 people and for 30 minutes did not move. Yet all the tellers were present. This is not the first bad experience witht this branch or bank for that matter and I am, as usual very disappointed.

Worst banking experience ever!

Yes, the design of this brach is beautiful and looks amazing from a distance, however, the staff at the tellers are completely incompetent. Customer service is not at all a priority and they are just so SLOW to help. I stood in a queue of more than 10 people and for 30 minutes did not move. Yet all the tellers were present. This is not the first bad experience witht this branch or bank for that matter and I am, as usual very disappointed.

After being an ABSA client and then having left them, I was unfortunate enough to go into the refurbished branch in the mall. It is like putting a plaster on a broken arm. Obviously they think if it looks the part then that is fine. Way too little seating for the number of clients waiting. Silly numbers on tickets, half hearted staff.Thankful I am no longer with them.

The best they can do?

After being an ABSA client and then having left them, I was unfortunate enough to go into the refurbished branch in the mall. It is like putting a plaster on a broken arm. Servile received at the bank

I would like to commend Mr NA Sibeko at Absa Clearwater branch, for his excellent service and very pleasant nature while assisting me with my accounts yesterday (30/12/2016). He was able to patiently assist me with all my questions and even though I was in two minds about staying with ABSA bank, I left with the satisfaction of knowing that my accounts were in good hands.
Mr Sibeko is definitely an asset to your bank.

excellent service

I was at Clearwater Absa this morning wanting to change my current account to a student account. The staff that I was put through to was friendly and helpfull. They answered all my questions and gave me such a friendly service. I would definitely recommend this product to all students. Absa Clearwater is with no doubt the best absa branch. Big compliments to Susan at couter4 and Rilley at the tellers for their excellent service.

I have been a client ABSA for many years. I visited your ABSA Clearwater Mall branch yesterday and must say the new premises are quite posh.

However, even though the premises are modern and efficient I would think people should always come first! I was sadly disappointed that your staff member who works at your frontline reception desk that hands out the electronic tickets and directs you to the correct area for query assistance doesn't have a chair to sit on all day!! This surely is not acceptable, if the rest of the banks staff including your top management have a chair to sit on why can't she!! I asked your other staff member who assisted us with our internet banking request why this lady doesn't have a seat and she simply said it is the way the bank designed the layout of the bank floor.

This is very poor indeed and I am sure many of your other clients frown at how you are treating this staff member and leaves a poor reflection on your management toward treatment of staff members.

FRONTLINE RECEPTION - EMPLOYEE HAS NOT SEAT!

Good morning,

I have been a client ABSA for many years. I visited your ABSA Clearwater Mall branch yesterday and must say the new premises are quite posh.
