BOOKED MY SONS LEARNERS TEST - DID EYE TEST - WENT IN STOOD IN QUE FOR 2 TO 3 HOURS TO PAY.
ON THE DAY HE IS SUPPOSED TO WRITE WE GET TURNED AWAY AS THE "SYSTEMS ARE OFF LINE". THEY TAKE DOWN EVERY ONES NUMBERS TO RESCHEDULE - TO DATE NO ONE HAS PHONE TO RESCHEDULE - WE CANNOT PHONE AS THERE PHONES NEVER NEVER NEVER WORK, NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR EMAILS - IF THE EMAIL ADRESS THAT SHOW EVEN EXISTS.........IF WE GO IN TO FIND OUT THERE IS A QUE AND TO STAND AND WAIT ANOTHER 4 HOURS JUST TO GET A RESPONSE IN NOT FAIR.........WHY DO PEOPLE WORK THEIR IF THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH THE PUBLIC. WHY ARE THEY SO SLOW, WHY ARE THEY SO NAGATIVE, WHY WHY WHY......SERIOUSLY THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT NEED JOBS - IF YOU DONT LIKE WHAT YOU DO - LEAVE DO US ALL A FAVOUR.......PATHETIC

every time i have been there i was told that it is not ready, they are back logged, the printers does not have any paper/ cartridges.
then another ecuse was the address was not correct and it had to go back to the other office for validating. they cannot tell em which office.
every week from the 28th November till today i have been going there on Mondays and every time the same excuse.
why is this such a mission for people to do their work.
this is very poor service and the attitude is that they cannot do anything and the manager is never in and the telephone numbers never exist.
so what sort of govenment department is this?
the satff are not friendly at all .
very unsatisfied south african.

Pathetic Service Alrode Licensing office
This is the worst licensing office i have ever came across.
I went in November 2018 to request for a duplicate license paper for my vehicle.

alrode licensing poor
There should be a 0 on this ratings 09:23 on Wednesday I was told they can only help the people inside, since they are short of stuff. I tried to explain that I took leave from work to come and renew my license and the car disks and I asked for the person in-charge that is when the rude security at the gate just said no I told him I am recording him he said he did not care . Surprisingly when I got to the parking leaving a guy came to me saying he can help me renew my license he works there and i can just pay him since i was going to pay even inside mxm.
Out of 6 cubicles One is manned and the manner in which the staff talk and deal with clients is nothing more than absolute disrespect.
This is a disgraceful service paid for by tax payers money.

Most efficient experience ever experienced
I have been sitting here now for over an hour trying to renew my drivers license. The que has moved three people in all this time.
Out of 6 cubicles One is manned and the manner in which the staff talk and deal with clients is nothing more than absolute disrespect.

Drivers` licence renewal
Always very long queues and the service is very poor. Unprofessionalism from employees, the act like we are there to beg them to give us their services for free. They are rude dragging their feet to do their job and arrogant.
If there was a zero on the ratings they would definitely get that from me. Pathetic

Dont answer calls
Service does not exist. what a waste of time posting a telephone number on the internet when you don't even answer the phone
They are rude, arrogant, inefficient and totally disinterested in their jobs or you as a customer.

The state of the offices are shocking..... I would feel ashamed to work in a place like that!!!!
There is no signage to point you to the correct queues and when you ask, they can hardly muster up the strength to provide you with an answer but they know you are in their hands and I guess that makes them feel like they have the power to treat you as they do!!!!!
Why, oh why, can't we do this online or extend the period of validity of our licences to 10 years!? This would certainly ease so many problems.......!!!!

If there were ZEROS, that's what they would get on ALL accounts.
They are rude, arrogant, inefficient and totally disinterested in their jobs or you as a customer.
They don't care how long they take with each person and they actually tell you that.....!!!!!!!!!!!!

Learners license
Brought my daughter to apply for her learners & get a date, I was astounded by the poor servise it was slow staff arrogant , after 4 hours of waiting had to leave came back next day to be treated to the same rude inafecient staff

Disrespectful and arrogant
I was told I had to get an affidavit and a copy of my ID which no one even asked to so much as look at.Sat for an hour trying to book my test. I handed them my original Learners when booking my test which I didn't get back and when arriving for the day of my test they didn't want to test me because I didn't have my original and I had to make them go find it. The driving instructor provided during the test was so rude,disrespectful and made me feel so small and nervous. When trying to rebook I have to go through the whole process all over. So poorly managed.

"Have no comment reason been that i can see da volume/high number of clients that the dept has to attend on daily basis. But suggest the dept could consider da fact of implementing under cover system to look after those who take advantage by approaching those waiting at que. in fact taking people from back of long que to the front at the price/money.

Unfair Learners Licence Questions
I am really concerned about the amount of people that I hear failing their learners licence tests which are automated now. There were questions asked in the learners that is not even appearing in the K53 latest edition book. Even myself as a driver for many years does not know how to answer those questions but if you ask the facilitator what are the correct answers to those questions he tell you hard luck those are the questions you received and you must just live with it. I think its a money making scam putting in questions that someone will never come across in a proper learners book. What I find strange is that before a test you don't even choose that you want to write a test for light motor vehicles yet in your book it specifies this option. What is worse is that you cannot review your test to see where you went wrong you only get marks which tells you nothing and if the system is tweaked to make a person fail how many times must a person write their learners to pass. It is really demotivating especially if one has studied. The questions that appear from the learners book is easy but they give you extra questions that are no where to be found in the learners book so that you can fail. Most people I spoke to failed by only 2 marks. How is this possible.

Incompetence and Bad quality service
The most arrogant bunch of staff that thinks they are doing us a big favor when they suppose to be doing their jobs.Firstly I don't think anyone there is competent enough to actually conduct their duties and don't know how to deal with the public. They sit behind these glass windows and cannot hear what they are saying neither can they articulate and speak properly. I had to take off from work and go to this place 3 times, just because they gave me the incorrect information each time.How difficult can it be to explain us what the requirements are for renewing your license card???? What is the Head of Dept doing about this, nothing?? Why cant they put up a notice board advising the public properly what is required?? This is just plain down incompetence..well what can we say or do, coz no one will even answer or take responsibility..Government offices/institutes are becoming worse..no improvement whatsoever....It is a nightmare to go to this office....
