They are slow, their call center staff know nothing about the internet. Glad i moved from them.
my family had many problems with neotel, we ended the internet subscription because every month they overcharged us, and even after we cancelled, they kept charging us every month, making out like it was out fault. We will never go back to neotel, was shocking service
Neotel connect those that want to pay less
I moved from Telkom to Neotel, merely to have a better service and cheaper connectivity to the internet and in both cases Neotel wins hands down. Service inquiries aren't always dealt with in an efficient manner though, but have to say it has certainly improved since I have joined their group almost 3 years ago. I do however feel that it is still necessary to allow people the luxury of being able to change providers with much more ease as new and better offers, keep on popping up
I moved to Neotel from Hellkom. It was love at first download. Over the last 12 months the speed has deteriorated substantially and I called four times to try and get some assistance. Only after I cancelled the service last month do I get a call from 'Retentions' to ask me to stay.
I live in a place where no internet connction is worth getting, in a nice big dip. All the providers, that did the effort to check my signal strength, told me that it is not worth getting their service as it will not work. Neotel came out and told us the signal is very poor and will probably not work. My dad went ahead and got the contract and I went for the prepaid. The signal strength of the prepaid is better that the contract and tha airtime lasts me so much longer.
When I acquired the service the data speed was incredible, over the last several months this has deteriorated to such an extent that I have requested service cancellation. It also seems that when I call the systems are off-line
