Very poor service

Waited over 20 minutes for my call to be answered, having to listen to a repetitive sales pitch every minute. Eventually gave up in disgust

Shocking Service

Waited over 20 minutes for my call to be answered, having to listen to a repetitive sales pitch every minute. Eventually gave up in disgust

I went to an accredited Ryobi supplier and they called the Cape Town branch to confirm stock availability
It was confirmed that they have one in stock
it is a Safety Guard for a table saw
I drove all the way to Ryobi in Cape Town to collect the item
The system again confirmed that they have one unit in stock
BUT because it is stocktaking time some items were already packed into a sealed box ready for stock counts
They even quoted the box reference number where to find the item
Well, this was to much trouble and I was duly informed by a senior staff member that the item was in fact returned to JHB because it
had been in stock for 12 month and was occupying space
What do one do with an attitude like this??
Bad Effectiveness, bad Efficiency, bad Professionalism, bad Service

I took in an edge trimmer for repairs. I was served by Johan, who was totally acoomodating and patient. He quoted me on repairs, a new unit and a demo unit. The demo unit was R300 more than the repairs so I purchased the demo unit. Happy, one of the Sales assistant was also very helpful. These guys know their business and show a genuine and keen interest in their customers and prodcuts. Well done Steven and Co.

Stevens and Co are top of the pops when it comes to Ryobi repairs and servicing. I took in a bundle of (4) Ryobi appliances that had stopped working after a torrid life. The serviceman attended to me immediately with complete professionalism, assessing the appliances in my presence. Two were irreparable, he advised why, and disposed of them (Keeping the planet green !) and the other two were examined and repaired IMMEDIATELY at modest cost. Within 45 minutes I was on my way again, a very happy chappy (and this was on a Saturday morning !). In cases where one's appliance is irreparable, they usually offer a discounted demonstration machine - this is service). ! I have been to Stevens & Co on a few previous occasions and this is the type of service that is to be expected as their standard - I doubt whether there is another appliance repair service as good as this anywhere !!! No hestitation in recommending Stevens & Co unreservedly !!
