Love the Barnyard experience in general and this was no exception. Went to a fund raiser and it was very well managed and the show was excellent. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to do a fund raiser or just keen for a fun interactive show.

One thing about going to The Barnyard is you know you are going to have a wonderful evening and last night was no exception. The male performers in 90's Mania were absolutely fantastic and two of the three females were fabulous!! The music was terrific with "songs from the past" bringing back plenty of good memories!! The casual vibes in The Barnyard add to the fun and, because last night was a fundraising evening for little ones with handicaps, there were lots of little ones able to enjoy the music too. Pizzas were devoured with our beers and colddrinks - just a super evening. I think the "cherry on the top" were the musicians - the lead guitarist was unbelievable!!!

Andrew Webster and his talented team of entertainers presented a wonder show with a fabulous trip down memory lane. 99 hits from the 1950's onwards. Without doubt, this type of theater is for enjoyment and full entertainment purposes where you can engulf yourself with the pleasure on just sitting back and enjoying a show presented to entertain and present the skills and talents of the artists. It is not serious theater and certainly not intended to be so.

Refreshments are available from a bar in the theater, and so is a variety of food delights which can be purchased there, or you can bring your own food items with for consumption on the premises. Do however avoid the in house pizza choices. The bases for the pizza's are factory made and leave a lot to be desired, as does the fillings which lack imagination and taste. Be cautioned - you will be disappointed to say the least.

There is ample parking available both open and under cover and sufficient security to ensure your car is still there after the show.

I am not a big fan of the usual shows they put on at the Barnyard - they are always fun but they're not what I would go out of my way to watch or organise a group for. They have now started shows with local musicians though and I really love that idea! We went to see Matthew Mole a while ago and recently friends of mine went to see Connell Cruise (I couldn't make it but they said it was an amazing show). I think they should definitely keep doing these types of shows!

I love that the Barnyard are starting to get SA artists to perform instead of just the typical barnyard shows. We went to watch Connell Cruise perform here and it was really super. The sound is always so great so it's actually better than stadiums and other normal concert venues. We are attending a fund raiser at Cresta Barnyard this week and are so looking forward to it.

The shows at The Barnyard at Cresta are generally speaking, amazing. I love that we can book a table of 10 with all our mates and have a "get together" once every couple of months. I bumped into an ex actor, Ruan, this weekend at Sun City - he is now doing Childrens Entertainment. I find the quality of the performers to be really good, as well as their voices etc. - it's just a pity that there doesnt seem to be anything where these people can be recognised and move on to "bigger things" after they have finished with The Barnyard theatres. I wish they would bring back Rocky Horror show!!!

I love going here with my family. I usually get my daughter to buy our tickets online but she doesn't ever complain that it's difficult so I assume the availability of tickets is good. I like that they now have a restaurant in the facility although we usually just bring a few pizzas along with us and have a fun time with friends and family. Our favourite shows were Roll over Beethoven and Rock me Amadeus.

From the online booking, to the yummy pizzas which you can order for delivery, to the great vibe inside with picnic tables and the lighting etc., The Barnyard is always a treat! My most recent visits have included Matthew Mole for which the sound was SUPERB (I happen to own the same guitar as Mr Mole so the setup they did on that night made me green!), and then the 80's vs 90's show which was on quite recently. Both of them, along with all the other shows I've been to see at Cresta Barnyard have been great experiences! A good tip is to get there a bit early - the bar is open so you can sit and have a drink, share a pizza with your friends and make it far more than just a show!

This was my 4th visit to the Barnyard at Cresta and as always the experience was amazing. Loved the talented performers, dazzling costumes and the atmosphere was great as always. We ordered pizzas inhouse and they were delicious. The service was awesome and I will definitely be returning to the Barnyard. Does not matter which branch, I have always enjoyed myself as have my kids and hubby and colleagues. Its the perfect venue for entertainment and having a fun night out.

Poor sound quality, including distortion, made for an unpleasant performance of "Hey Now, Hey Now" last night. Furthermore, there is no enforcing of the Tobacco Act and smoking was allowed in the venue. Unwilling to return.

The shows are very "commercial" and not the greatest. All in good fun for a night out, if you enjoy that. It is cool that you can take your own food in.. Book for good shows- makes a world of difference. Great venue though

We went to see The Rocky Horror Show and I can say I have never had so much fun. I don't like going to concerts of any kind but this is one place I will always make an exception. The great thing was that, unlike movie theaters, you are welcome to bring your own food. As food at many of the venues is expensive this is a big advantage. I show the greatest respect to the actors, running up and down the stairs in those heels takes guts. I found myself whistling and screaming with the other ladies when the one actor removed his shirt. What can I say, you go to enjoy yourself. We had enough room to move around, stand and sit. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

I for one am never sure about "The Barnyard". I find they play the music too loud, everything sounds distorted. Im not sure if its the start to an amazing career or a downward spiral for performers. Unless I am invited to a function that I cant say no to I would not go to the Barnyard ever by choice!
