Moses Mabhida Stadium (Durban) in Durban
Located in the heart of Durban and within walking distance to the beach. With its "arch of triumph", the Moses Mabhida Stadium is a defining landmark comparable with the best in the world. In addition to this internationally acclaimed engineering feat, the multi-disciplinary aspect of the stadium's design allows the stadium to host a wide range of sporting and cultural events, putting it on a par with other international venue's such as the Stade du France and Wembley Stadium.

The most iconic stadium in the country! The arch is a landmark which is visible from just about anywhere in the city. The view from the top is breathtaking! There is always a vibe around the stadium. There's no place like it...

This Stadium has got to be one of the most beautiful stadiums in the World!!! The sight of it is awe inspiring with that huge arch looming in the sky. The fact that you can go up in the sky car or walk the steps to see the most magnificant spectacular view of Durban is surely a crowd gatherer. Durban unfortunately does not get many overseas artists coming to perform but when they do this stadium is a great venue as the sound is good, the seating is comfortable, it is safe and secure in a good location and the stadium and its surroundings are always spotlessly clean.

The restaurants and shops in the area are not too great as there are not many of them and what there is, is very expensive but it great to sit down and chill with a cocktail with your friends. You can also hire bicycles and take a ride on the promenade to Ushaka Pier and back and then go on a segway for a tour through the stadium.

A great place for entertaining the young and the old.

A beautiful stadium, always spotlessly clean with so much to do. From stopping at Peoples Park to let the children play in the playground, then having a wonderful breakfast, followed by a Segway tour where you get to see how beautiful the stadium is INSIDE and then the magnificent climb up the stadium steps. There is plenty parking, great facilities, restaurants, shops and so much to do. You can hire bicycles and cycle to Ushaka Pier and back, a must do for anyone visiting the Stadium!!!

In my opinion this is one Grand Stadium which takes it to the next level. There is ample secure parking. The stadium host a number of restaurants, and shops. So what is do Grand you may ask me, I went up in the sky car 106m to the top of the arch and step out into the viewing platform. It takes about two minute to get to the top of the arch but once you at the top the views are absolutely breath taking.

You will see Durban in a whole new light on one side you have sea for as far as the eye can see and on the other side you see our beautiful city suburb after suburb this is a must for not only the tourist but for the locals as well it’s really great value for money.
If you are brave enough there is the world’s tallest swing (Guinness recorded) a bungee swing from a platform where you free fall for 80m then you swing into the bowl of the stadium however that is a bit pricy but if you are an adrenalin junkie it should be right up your alley. Not to mention the awesome family picnic time to be had at people’s park so much more than just a stadium…….

Great location for a stadium with plenty of underground parking and other parking, loads of restaurants and cafes and shops. The skycar is something I would love to experience but every time I have tried they have told me the wind is too strong, so if you are in Durban and this is on your bucket list, make sure you go on a clear sunny and non windy day :-) There are also Segway tours which is a lot of fun and you can hire bicycles and cycle to Ushaka and back on the promenade. A really fun day out for the entire family. There is a great restaurant and play area at Peoples Park on the other side of the Stadium.
Bear in mind that children under the age of 10 are not allowed on the Segways but there is an entertainment centre for them.
    Toilets are clean.
Bicycle hiring includes tandem bikes and bikes with baby seats.

As my title say "Stunning to say the least" from the beautifil modern architecture, to the awesome facilities in and around the stadium yes even management are pleasant..... and truely an ICON of the night sky, with it all lit up....... During sporting avents the stadium roars as sport fans scream for their team to win.... and on a Sunday makes for a nice family outing.... So I encourage everybody who is visiting Durban to take in the sight and if you a bit of a daredevil to even go to the top of the arch and take a bungee swing off it. or a skycar ride and see a stunning 360 degree view of Durban

Been there, done that and got the picture to prove it. After my family raved about there time here, I decided I had to go experience it for myself. I was impressed, from the architecture, the atmosphere, the location....it was clean, we had fun and the cable car was the added bonus to an already stunning building/stadium.

Real top class stadium offering a unique design. The experience of having the cricket match (t20) here against India was spectacular with the crowd buzzing and everyone cheering. The atmosphere was electric and the bollywood show thereafter was magnificent. Though the toilet queue was quite long during the breaks, the rest of the positives outshine this one negative.
