    Nicolway (Bryanston) in Johannesburg
This exciting new shopping centre, features easy, direct access off William Nicol Drive onto two shopping levels. Nicolway Bryanston offers its shoppers over 86 impressive stores which includes a strong health and beauty offering, home/decor, and banking services. Not only is the centre home to three supermarkets - including Checkers, Food Lovers Market and SA's first new-concept, Woolworths store - it also offers carefully hand-picked restaurants and coffee shops with an emphasis on quality and personal service.

Popped in to Nicolway for lunch at Fegos yesterday - as usual this centre remains spotlessly clean without one ever seeing cleaners. I always arrive about half an hour before my appointment so that I can browse around some of the clothing stores (Cape Union Mart being one of my favourites), Food Lovers Market, get some cash from FNB ATM downstairs where there is unfortunately always a queue and then upstairs again to enjoy a scrumptious meal. Turn n Tender is fabulous and highly recommended. Parking is excellent. I always park undercover (first hour is free!!) and have always been fortunate to find parking close to the stairs (lifts) up to Fegos. Well worth visiting when you are in the area!!

There is something so special about Nicolway, it is a classy yet not pompous shopping centre in Bryanston. It has every shop you need! The parking bays are big and parking is free for the first hour, even for under ground parking. Nicolway is always clean. The 'open' roof allows for natural light, which is fantastic!

It's refreshing to find all the restaurants in a shopping centre having a view of the outside - Nicolway does. It's very cleverly designed, with all the shops "inside" the mall and the restaurants, while covered and in the mall, appear to be almost separate so that you aren't enclosed in a shopping centre while enjoying a refreshment, light snack or meal. The choice of restaurants is more than sufficient for all tastes.

Dischem, Dion Wired, Checkers, Woolworths Food (an extra special store), Exclusive Books, PNA and Food Lovers Market are among the chain stores in this centre. The boutique, jewellery and other specialist stores provide an all-round brilliant shopping experience in a more intimate and personalised setting.

I almost forgot to mention - there is always more than enough parking, both underground and in the open.

I just love this shopping centre. It is big, it is clean, it has everything and it is classy. The Woolworths restaurant is great, I enjoy Fego's and I haven't tried any of the other restaurants because these are my favourite two and I always leave feeling replete and complaisant. The Woolworths Food is the biggest in South Africa - I know if they haven't got something, no one will have it. The banks are downstairs and the security wander around there all the time. Love it!!

In most respects, this 'Pick n Pay' - dominated shopping centre probably epitomises the retail dictum of what the three critical success factors are - location, location, location. Very accessible and logical and good 'quick in and out', it has much of what one needs on a daily basis... and more. Away from the hustle and bustle of Sandton City and surrounds, the centre seems to suit the many shoppers that frequent it.

Best experience ever. If you are looking for a sophisticated, new age and modern shopping, this is for you. Not overly populated, yet spacious and warm and inviting.

This center reminds me a bit of Atholl Square in Sandton because it has a similar layout with the main restaurants on the outer edge, including a Tashas.

I've visited this center a few times and have always found parking easily. The mall itself is airy and spacious and is easy to navigate. There are a wide variety of stores and some quality shops such as Bryanston Jewellers. The Woolworths Food in this center is unique in that it houses the usual Woolies food as well as a limited selection of Woolies baby gear, clothing and home stuff.

As a new mum, one of the best features of this little center for me is the baby changing/breastfeeding rooms. The designers have thoughtfully added a button which you can push to open the baby changing rooms - no struggling to push/pull open a door while trying to navigate a pram through a tiny doorway!

Even though this center is a little far from home for me, I would still happily make the trip to do some shopping here.
