    I find that this branch has staff that are unhelpful and unapproachable. You are given forms to fill without any assistance. The staff need to be more professional and deal with customers politely.

    Poor Customer Service

    I find that this branch has staff that are unhelpful and unapproachable. You are given forms to fill without any assistance. The staff need to be more professional and deal with customers politely.

    I went expecting very poor service, but I was surprized by the extremely helpful, professional, and efficient service I recieved. There wasn't a long wait in the queue maybe about 20min's max. The Sars agent was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to help me. She was so friendly, polite and respectful which made me feel comfortable speaking to her about my tax issues, the building is easy to find in the center of Durban, The only negative was I had to park at the Workshop Shopping Center and walk....

    Well Done Sars

    I went expecting very poor service, but I was surprized by the extremely helpful, professional, and efficient service I recieved. There wasn't a long wait in the queue maybe about 20min's max. The Sars agent was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to help me. She was so friendly, polite and respectful which made me feel comfortable speaking to her about my tax issues, the building is easy to find in the center of Durban, The only negative was I had to park at the Workshop Shopping Center and walk....

    Scarily Impressive

    Big building, they know what they are doing, are efficient and i guess that shows why everyone is scared of the SARS people, you don't get away with anything with them, make sure you go with all the documents and things you need and its a pleasant and fast experience.

    We have been battling since 2011 to get my husbands business bank details on you system, through our bookkeeper, e-filing, emails, telephone calls and visits to our Richards Bay office. The last date we have done it, was with a appointment with our bookkeeper and SARS in Richards Bay on the 6 May 2014. We have correspondence with Durban SARS with their stamp on dated 13/01/2011 and 17 May 2011. When I phoned today 3/10, after our bookkeeper has spoken to them on the 29 September 2014 requesting them to wait 21 working days, which they did, they said to me that they send a letter on e-filing that we must verify bank-details (as we done 6 times), with the necessary documents. How more times must we do this??? We received a letter dated 12/01/2011 (stamped with the following details: TAXPAYER SERVICE CENTRE- RICHARDS BAY, 13-01-2011 P O BOX 921, DURBAN, CONSULTANT 2) that the Business, type of acc, acc nr, business registration nr, all this info was correct. How do they operate, sending us a letter to confirm bank details and then still want us to go through the procedure (for the 6th time). Is it because they do not want to pay what is legally ours?? PLEASE EXPLAIN!! We would appreciate it if this could be resolved and monies owing to the company be paid ASAP.

    REFUND VAT

    Really professional

    Professional helpful efficient and great service, nothing else can explain this company!!! They are well situated in Durban, easy to find but parking can be a hassle. The building is well looked after and everything is very clean and tidy.

    Efficient

    Who do I ask serious questions of ?.

    I am just trying to get a reminder of my tax No, and I cannot find a box which says "What is your question?" anywhere. I don't want to play revue games, I want to be serious.
