I moved all my banking from ABSA to FNB in Oct'14. But the service is very bad. I'm supposed to have an "electronic option" / "unlimited transaction" fee structure with a NORMAL SAVINGS ACCOUNT. In stead I've been charged R16 for every debit order, R11 for every internet pmt, R22 for drawing cash, all in my 1st mnth with FNB. On 23/10/2014 I logged a complaint on HelloPeter, directly with FNB's complaints resolution & on FNB's facebook ("RB Jacobs"). Even though I've been receiving e-mails since 23/10/2014 with assurances that my account will be changed to a Smart Acc with "Unlimited" transactions, IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN ACTIONED. Today is 30/10/2014. Now because this error has not yet been fixed this morning I was charged R132.10 service fee + R3.80 monthly acc fee on top of the already charged R151.40 in Oct'14 alone. Total of R287.30 bank fees in Oct so far whereas I'm supposed to be paying R49 p.m. R181 of the R287.30 could've definitely been avoided if my problem was resolved on 23/10/2014. But it was not. Will I get a refund of those R181 charges due to the major delay in resolving this problem? WHICH IS STILL UNRESOLVED...

I am always talking about "my bank" when I speak to friends on comment on posts on social networks - praising "my bank" - FNB.

I hate standing in lines, long or short, so I love that with FNB, I can do almost everything online or via my Premier banker. This saves time but more importantly makes life so much more simple.

I love the fact that my account is so versatile, i.e. I can buy Prepaid things on line, I can invest, I can apply for a loan or draft online. This is only a few.

I get e-bucks rewarded to me and I am able to use e-bucks to make purchases as well as to get discounts.

I love that I get to use the Slow Lounge at the local Airports, makes me feel valued.

They also have introduced extremely reasonable packages for mobile phones and tablets.

I could go on but I'll end by saying that I am delighted to be banking with FNB, I will not change.

Oh btw, there IS one thing that I really don't like about FNB and it annoys me a lot, it's their Television advert about the Indian family and all the daughters...!

The service at the FNB at The Glen is excellent. There are floor staff that are constantly around willing to help in anyway they can. They really give you value for your money. Every client is given precedence regardless of the accounts they hold etc. Excellent service. Keep up the good work.

Needed to make a cash deposit into another account holder's account and the queues were too long. Very helpful staff assisted me to make a cash deposit done through the ATM machine. No long queues and great service from FNB. Well done to FNB!!
