    BAD SERVICE

    Waited for 20 minutes to be assisted. Branch manager sits and do nothing.

    My name is Elizabeth Catharina Brouwer Id 640211 0002 088
    On the 1 of April I want to the bank to activate my internet banking because
    I will be overseas for 6 MONTHS.
    I specified that I will not have my South African cell with me and that they must sent my Password to
    my EMAIL adres.

    Number 1 On arrival in Greece I discover that they use my cell no to send my password too so I am not be able to recover my password.
    Number 2 I can't do inter account transfer therefore can't pay my credit card .

    When phoning customer care they tell me that they can't help me regarding my email adres. (Was holding on for more than 30 minutes paying international rates) you can go and check on system. They told me that I must go to my Branch. Do Standard bank have any idea how far Greece is from George garden Road mall.

    I just want to know now what am I suppose to do. Sitting in Greece for 6 months and not be able to py my card.

    As you can understand I am a very unhappy customer

    Internet banking
