Review Detail

Recently had occasion to try Debonairs Eagles Landing. Situated along with several other eateries (which completely dominate the tenant mix at this convenient little centre), Debonairs is the 'electric pizza' arm of fast food giant Famous Brands,. Whilst I am generally pretty resistant to 'electric pizza' (cooked in an electric oven as opposed to a proper wood burning pizza oven), we decided to try their tiny special offer pizza's - only available in spare rib or spicy chicken flavours at the good value price of R 19.99 a pop. The small but well served pizza was served in a cute little pizza box complete with serviette and 'hot' tester hole, was quite tasty and enough for a quick lunchtime snack. Judging by the quantum of nicely branded delivery motorcycles, it seems that online or phone ordering and home delivery is the order of the day .... OK but not much to write home about .... competes with the likes of Dominos and Pizza Hut - maybe they're the lesser of the evils, but I'd opt for wood burning oven every time .... ?
