Postnet at Cresta is screwed. The guy things he is funny by giving me the old books to look trough for a package after i asked of this week and next week book. He runs away after he had given me the books and think i am stupid that i wont realise that the. Books that he gave me is the receipt book the packages that was already delivered. I had to stand in the queue twice. Then the guy said next week book is not out yet. But on the receipt that you get in jou mailbox has a date on it when the parcel was send out to the adress. So dont tell me they write it the day they receive the package and send the paper the same day that tells you that you need to fecth your package at the post office.

I tried to save time by doing them and me a favour. By saying that i mean that if i can have a look at the book that tells you that your package is at cresta then i can get the package and they dont have to send the paper out saying that your package is waiting for you at cresta.

I asked the guy before can he please look at the book there must be more packages coming he told me he cant there is a lot of names that he must read. So then when i asked for the book myself that i will look for it the guy thinks he is funny by giving me the old books with the receipt stating that the people have fecth the package.

I thinks it disguisting to say the least.

I asked the guy nicely because every 2nd or 3 day i must come back and pay R10 for parking just because the dont want to work.

I want this matter solved and i want an apology from that guy thinking i am stupid and that i won't realised it.

Pathetic service from cresta post office.iv been standing in a very short queue (1 person Infront of me) for an hour and all the tellers are being the counters doing their own thing. This is ridiculous they need to up their service.I had to complain before they could all scatter and start assisting myself and the other people and after the complain I was given attitude and nasty looks.

The unfortunate thing about going to the Cresta Post Office is that I am irritated before I enter the doors!! The last time I went it was to pay for my car licence, which had unfortunately expired. Because my licence was two months overdue I had to pay a penalty of approximately R200-00 on top of the fine. I understand that the Post Office no longer send us reminders to pay our car licences, I just don't know why not?? You have one person behind the counter trying to serve twenty or thirty people at any one given time, the Post Office Manageress has a real "couldn't care less attitude" and to stand and watch all those counters with no Post Office Staff behind them, simply makes my blood boil.

I seriously wonder how our Post Office expect to survive with the unbelievably slow/lack of service they provide. I went in at 10h30 this morning to get my new car licence. There were two male tellers on duty. There were 10 customers in the queue. At no stage did the one teller offer to assist anyone. He sat there punching away on his computer (probably work he should have completed yesterday) while the remaining teller had to serve 10 customers who were getting more and more aggravated. I walked out with my new licence at 11h15 and 10 extremely irate customers behind me. No apology for the delay, no smile and no assistance from the other teller. Shocking!! No manager on duty either. They cannot survive like this!!

I battle to keep track on when there is a postal strike and when there isnt! I do know I have not had a motor vehicle licence renewal so I had to go and queue - argh!!! All I can say is, if it happens to you, make sure you complete the white form before you get to the front of the queue, make sure you have your ID - not your drivers licence, keep calm and do not give the guy behind the counter the satisfaction of knowing how much he is irritating you because he will make you wait!! For as long as he feels like!!!

The only time I visit our Post Office is to collect a speeding fine or a parcel. Knowing its a fine I am colldcting irritates me even more when I have to wait in a rwally slow queue. The queues arent long - just slow. I am of the opinion that most of the staff do not enjoy what they are doing and as a result we have to wait. I see no supervision and no sense of urgency. Most annoying. The premises are clean.

This post office is quiet big but there is always a queue. The service is very slow, so whether you buying stamps or renewing your license best you do it first thing in the morning or expect to wait in the queue for a long time.Disappointing service and staff have a don't care attitude.

The post office worldwide has almost become redundant with emails and courier services, but you would think that with their decrease in use they would manage better with their clients. Nope. There is always a queue. There is always difficulty hearing the mumbling employee behind the stupidly thick glass and if you're lucky like me then you will go there without cash expecting them to make use of the credit card machines which are installed at every booth. They don't use them though and they insist on you paying with cash so you have to then lose your place in line and run around the centre to the ATM. It's a joke and it annoys me. These people are paid to do a job - if I gave that kind of service in my job I would be fired so they need to up the standard!

A frequent this branch as it is close to home. But I also choose this post office because I have always had good service whenever I used it. Sometimes the queues are long, but the waiting period is not unberable. Whether its stamps, sending of a parcel, etc, the service delivery experience has been great.Prompt service al round
