In 1996 Debonairs Pizza was acquired by the Steers Group of Companies and their "claim to fame" are their amazing pizzas and Subs. This Debonairs is opposite the Heathway Shopping Centre in Beyers Naude Drive, Cresta/Heathway. It is in a small shopping centre with plenty of parking. At Debonairs you can either sit down and eat, order takeaways or have your food delivered.

We were very fortunate to win a few R40-00 Debonairs vouchers (thanks to Yowzit) so decided to go and give them a try. First of all I have to say Debonairs are situated in a horrible little centre right across the road from Heathway Centre in Beyers Naude Drive. The centre does not look clean, there are people loitering about (and by that I mean lying down outside different shops) and, although there is a boom on one side of the centre, there is nothing on the other side?? Because we hadn't had Debonairs before we decided to go for three different pizzas - all costing approximately R40-00 each. What a pleasant surprise!! We had a bacon, feta and avo pizza, a Mexican Fiesta which consisted of mince, jalapeno, green pepper, onion and plenty of Mexican sauce and a Chicken Tikka pizza. The shop was spotless, the staff were outstanding, the pizzas all had a thin crispy incredibly tasty base and each pizza was divine!! Thank you Yowzit for these prizes!! We have been back a number of times since then - I phone and place my order so that when I get there I simply pay and pick up my pizzas. Really worth trying!!!
