    Have tried calling the Watloo license department on three different days with the same results. 012 3581262 just rings and eventually you are cut off. 012 358 1263 you get to listen to some music and get told about the high volume of calls. I was holding on for 1 hour and 6 minutes and still nobody answered.
    Is there another number i can try to find out if my license is ready for collection? Do not want to drive there, wait in a queue for hours and then be told that the license is not ready.
    Please help.

    Watlooo Telephones

    Have tried calling the Watloo license department on three different days with the same results. 012 3581262 just rings and eventually you are cut off. 012 358 1263 you get to listen to some music and get told about the high volume of calls. I was holding on for 1 hour and 6 minutes and still nobody answered.
    Is there another number i can try to find out if my license is ready for collection? Do not want to drive there, wait in a queue for hours and then be told that the license is not ready.
    Please help.

    Was there last Thursday (13/04/2017) apparently there system was down - it never came on. I took a days leave to do what ever I need to do and the manager was sitting in his office - doing NOTHING. (and that is according to one of the workers). The lady at the small desk "reception" area is so unprofessional and unfriendly and unhelpful. She does not want to be there and now she is taking it out on the clients (the people paying her salary). According to one of the female workers, who came in to apologise on their behalf, the whole pretoria was down even the post offices were down. I went back on Tuesday (18/04/2017) and their system was still down. I drove all the way (twice) about 50km per day to get my papers in order and still it was not working. I was informed that it was not going to come on and I left for work (late). Now today (19/04/2017 13h15) I try to call the above numbers and the first number 012 358 1262 is just ringing - no answer. the second number 012 358 1263 just tells me to call back in working hours?????? 13h15 ?????? so when do they work?
    I need to get a copy of my car's registration papers and was told that you do not get the the same day - no no - you have to go one day to apply for the papers and then go back again (50km and another day late for work) to collect them after 10 days. You are not allowed to sent someone else to collect - no no - you must go as the owner of the vehicle and collect them yourself.

    Why can't they just make it electronic? You pay electronically get your password or something and print it yourself. if the Banks can work like that ??? just saying.

    No good experience at all. They should fire the lot of them, there are many people (homeless, jobless) that are hungry for work and I am sure they will go the distance. If I do my job like these people, I will not have a job.

    BAD BAD BAD

    Counters just close for 3/4 hour with no explanation. Staff sit other side and watch you waiting from 12hoo till 12h45.

    Surely if this is lunch break staff should rotate? Very frustrating

    Literally the worst experience in my life. Not only was the examinator 15 minutes late, she gave me a lot of attitude while explaining the rules of the road. As we went out to do the inspection, she spoke loudly to few guys forgetting that I'm doing inspection and on top of that she was on her phone and slammed the car door. When we arrived at the side parking, the car rolled a bit she told me to get out of the car and failed Me immediately with no explanation just telling me rudely that she's not there to teach me how to drive and that I should get a better driving school before tearing the copy of my license results and slamming it to the table. This is honestly no way to treat anyone. She has 0 patience and people I've spoken too have experienced the same problem with her. If she's not happy with her job and doesn't have a passion for working with people she should just quit. I've never felt so humiliated in my life. She doesn't even deserve to get ANY star. Completely rude !!!!

    Watloo license testing horror.

    Trying to get information

    I have been ringing the Traffic Department in Watloo for over 2 months now, at different times. No one answers. I am trying to establish if my NEW DRIVERS LICENCE has arrived which I applied for in May 2016. I need to collect it but work long hours and do not want to take time off work if its not there!!

    Unfearness
