    I applied in August 2017 for a renewal of my drivers license with the most unprofessional experience. It took me nearly 3 hours to just get to the person to eye testing. This when there are 4 brand new machine with new technology in place. The staff seems not to be bothered
    to speed up the service. When I tested my eyes the black man that assisted me was totally unfriendly. He ask me to look into the screen and ask if I see the E. The more I tell this guy I just see just a white block, it seems it does not bother him. He eventually told me to have my eyes tested by a eye specialist. I was screaming at him and and told him what I think about it. Then a coloured lady helped me and there was the E clearly visible on the screen. Then she forgot to take my finger prints. At pay point I saw the other people doing it and I enquired about it. Eventually I got to the pay point and handed my money to the cashier. I think he thinks I stupid. He stamped my papers and asked me if I have give him the money. Then he didn't have change. THIS FOR A SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND A CASHIER. He told me my license will be ready in 5 to 6 week. This is already eight week. I phoned in this morning to make an enquiry on when it will be available. The guy on the other side was utterly rude and I could hardly hear him. Then just to hear that the system is offline and I must phone back tomorrow. I asked him if they will sent me an sms to let me know when my license is ready. The only reply, YOU WILL GET AN SMS SOON!! This is horrific what is going on in our service departments in this country and totally unprofessionalism. People need to be trained to be efficient in service department and learn to treat other people in this country with respect!!!! I treat people with respect and I expect respect from them. Thank you.     I went to the Brakpan branch today 13/9/2017-what a rude awakening
    1st of all elderly people are expected to wait in the blazing hot sun -nobody bothers
    Staff walking around endlessly without helping-no system is followed with the result if you don't ask you could be sitting waiting all day
    No Management in sight and the staff that did help showed no interest
    Not all staff not helpful.........Mhpo was very accomadating
    My general opinion is that most staff think the person they suppose to help is uneducated..
    Be it what is may I managed to get my documents done
    Generally speaking I think senior management should intervene and treat the public with the respect they pay for and deserve

    Good Day.
    I went to the Brakpan Drivers Licence Dept today and I would sincerely like to congratulate this Department on excellence......We were greeted in a professional manner...guided through the steps and left within 20 minutes with my Temporary Driviers Licence and were told that my Drivers Licence card would be ready in a few weeks......What a pleasure it was to deal with such phenominal and professional people...There were smiles all around......Well done Brakpan......KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.....Merry Christmas....
