    I had all my documentation ready for my renewal of my drivers license only to be told that they only except bank statements or utility bills.
    I had an e-toll statement (a government issued document) as proof of residence which even has my ID no. printed on. My bank statement doesn't arrive at my postal address it gets sent electronically. Shocking, it feels like they are on some power trip or like waisting your time. I really think they need to inform their staff better on what does apply as proof of residence because any bill with your address on it should be sufficient as proof of residence.

    Badly trained staff

    I had all my documentation ready for my renewal of my drivers license only to be told that they only except bank statements or utility bills.

    BAD SERVICE

    Dingy looking offices with no friendly face to assist. Man sitting at front desk is moody and aggressive. Total lack of communication. Staff lack training and direction on their duties. Is there a receptionist that will answer a phone? Phone rings and rings.....Shocking !!!

    Horrible

    Horrible experience. I literally lost and entire day waiting to do my license renewal. The staff are not adequately trained, the only question that they can answer is which queue you should join. You are harassed by car guards in the parking lot, no adequate seating available for the elderly. The entire place is a big dump

    Any phones working...???

    After trying for days. I have come to realize that as with most government departments...they have run out of money to pay their phone bills. Or have they got competent enough staff to actually answer the phone.
    My best bet is actually to drive there myself and see. Ps... all I actually want to know are the times they are open on a Saturday.
    Anyone out there who can help me?? PLEASE??

    No reliable phone number

    There is no excuse for not having someone to answer the phone. This is a public service and should be available to the public at all times, during working hours. Not only is one of the numbers online not valid anymore (0116221410), but no one answers the number that does ring (0119990892). Unacceptable and very poor showing for such a good centre. I wonder if anyone connected to management at the centre even bothers to read these reviews? There are certainly no responses to any.

    EXTEMELY RUDE & ABRUPT STAFF

    Incompetent, rude, unfriendly, unhelpful staff!!! Worst centre ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 years ago it was one of the best, since then it has gone downhill, staff don't bother to answer the 011 999 1973 number which was given to me by another staff member. Been there 3 times and wasted 3 half a days of leave without even applying for the renewal of my drivers licence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Went to renew my drivers licence this morning. What a fantastic experience. The lady at reception, the lady who did my test - both absolutely fantastic. Thank you for making the morning so pleasant for this old lady! I would recommend this station to everyone. Thank you for an all round wonderful and helpful experience

    Went to renew my drivers licence this morning. What a fantastic experience. The lady at reception, the lady who did my test - both absolutely fantastic. Thank you for making the morning so pleasant for this old lady! I would recommend this station to everyone. Thank you for an all round wonderful and helpful experience

    wtf

    Why have a rating system? Really?????? 0000 FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!
    I have tried phoning for A MONTH and the number does not exist.
    I've been there twice to renew and the service was ok, but heck that was years ago.
    What I don't understand is how their number doesn't exist and Edenvale doesn't answer the effing phone!!!!?????
    My license expires in a few days and I don't even know if Bedfordview is open on a Saturday. Some of us don't have the time to go during the week and if I go on my lunch break I don't even know how long they're going to take to process.
    So does this mean that because these aholes aren't doing what they're supposed to (typical service with government) do I have to pay for a temporary licence as well cos these guys are an effup?
    Oh everyone, on the gov website you have to contact your DLTesting place to find out their fee. So everyone charges differently but they can't give an effing ballpark figure and you can't even get hold of them to find out how much.
    I AM LIVID AND DISGUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    LIVID AND DISGUSTED!!!!!!
