    Phone call

    Is there any body working here, I have been trying to call on a couple of numbers with no answer
    not on 011 6603186 / 011 6603189 not in service, 011 9515820 not in service, 011 6605799 no answer
    How do you get info if no one is there to assist us
    Bad very bad service I would say

    So my mother aged 68 went to collect her I'd and passport on Thursday, 15 Septeptember at 10:00, at 12:00 she had to pick up my daughters from school so she had to leave. The guy at info said she should come back later whereby she said she'll be back on saterday.
    On her return she went to the person at the first counter and told him that she was there on Thursday and almost waited 2 hours to collect her documents, even showed him the ticket she received on Thursday.
    The date on the ticket was not printed well.
    He stated" because of your age I could have helped you as to put you on priority, but because you lied I will not"
    This in font of a whole line of people..

    After my mom told a lady behind her that she cannot believe she was blatantly called a liar in front of het grandchildren and the rest of the people there, the idiot called her back and gave her a new ticket market as priority.

    First embarrass the elderly and when caught you want to hide it...

    To this dickhead I challenge you to give me the same attitude when I visit your office on Saterday.
    You want to pick on old ladies with small grandchildren with them, please try it with the son/dad when he comes to see you.

    Abuse of elder person

    So my mother aged 68 went to collect her I'd and passport on Thursday, 15 Septeptember at 10:00, at 12:00 she had to pick up my daughters from school so she had to leave. The guy at info said she should come back later whereby she said she'll be back on saterday.

    Worst service and staff

    After trying numerous times to contact the department (no answer at any time) I went to Krugersdorp Home Affairs on 30 May. Many of us had to stand on the side of the road and not allowed into the premises to wait in line. It was blistering hot and the security locked the gates and was only letting 10 people at time within 45 -50mins interval. I waited in line for almost 2 hours and then at 12:05 was told that they are closed - "its the weekend". When told that we have been waiting for 2 hours - the response was clicking of tongue, back turned away and the building doors slammed shut!. Im certain the office hours are until 12:30.
    They are rude and abrupt when asked for information. The staff walked out the building and go to the ATM and shops and have a dont care attitude.
    I was totally shocked at this behaviour. We are all South Africans not matter colour or race. This is a Government department and should be providing efficient service to its citizens.

    Worst Home Affairs

    After trying numerous times to contact the department (no answer at any time) I went to Krugersdorp Home Affairs on 30 May. Many of us had to stand on the side of the road and not allowed into the premises to wait in line. It was blistering hot and the security locked the gates and was only letting 10 people at time within 45 -50mins interval.     Avoid this at all costs. System is totally inefficient. The average wait time for collection is 1 hour

    horrific

    Avoid this at all costs. System is totally inefficient. The average wait time for collection is 1 hour

    Poor service

    My fiance was at the department some few hours ago trying to apply for a emergency travelling documment and the lady in a certain office told her that those temporary passport are no longer processed at this branch... What a disgrace from that employee because i called roorderport branch and they told me that its still processed anywhere in the country... Im asking the department to pull up theirsocks before we take the next step which wont be really good for the lady who attended my fiance and misinformed her. i have been trying to call them several times but there is no response.. I suspect there are a lot to be revealed on that branch and if if means asking for further investigations we will do so.

    No service

    Recently a colleague of mine wanted to get information on a process so she can get the necessary information. She called several times trying daily calling as soon as business hours start, after lunch and even in the afternoon before closing times, to no avail. You don't even get anyone to answer makes you wonder if there is a problem with the lines or if anyone actually works there. We then decided to go there so we could get the information, and that was even more of a waste of time. We were sent from pillar to post and it seems that no one has sufficient knowledge to help or there is no process in place.After 2 hours of waiting in queues.and not getting anywhere, we decided to leave as unlike the staff at this home affairs, we do have jobs to do which we do efficiently.This office deserves zero rating but its a pity the option is not available.

    Disgrace

    USELESS. And Ignorant is all I can say about Home Affairs Krugersdorp. It used to be so clean and friendly and was efficient beyond words. Well that has all changed for the worst of the worst.     bad service!

    I went to collect my smart ID card today. I'm currently outside the Krugersdorp Home affairs office and the time is exactly 10h45. Their operating hours on Saturday are 08h00 to 13h30 and it's clearly stated on their board outside here but we being denied entry and their reason for this is that their are closed. That's more than 2 hours before their closing time and that's consumer time. Talk about poor services!!!

    I got my new passport and my new smart card ID within 7 working days. Great efficiency. So happy!
    But the staff is rude and impatient. They make it seem like it is wrong to ask questions and they don't explain, they make very rude comments.

    I would recommend it if you are able to ignore the rudeness to get efficiency

    Passport Application

    I got my new passport and my new smart card ID within 7 working days. Great efficiency. So happy!
    But the staff is rude and impatient. They make it seem like it is wrong to ask questions and they don't explain, they make very rude comments.

    I would recommend it if you are able to ignore the rudeness to get efficiency

    We applied 12/6/14 at Krugersdorp Home affairs for new id card for pensioners and were told it would take about 2 - 3 weeks - today 24/7/14 ia 6 weeks and still no sms to say it is ready. phone calls to the only no that rings: 011 660 3186 (found on Home affairs website) but no reply. calls to call center brings no joy either.
