    VERY PATHETIC that one would dial HOME AFFAIRS and either NOT get the call answered OR get answered with a half dead speaking person on the other side who speaks to you as if you're an INVALID and puts you through to someone on the moon who refuses to answer that phone...ALL 30 minutes for a simple enquiry......JUST PATHETIC non delivery of service

    PATHETIC SERVICE AS USUAL

    VERY PATHETIC that one would dial HOME AFFAIRS and either NOT get the call answered OR get answered with a half dead speaking person on the other side who speaks to you as if you're an INVALID and puts you through to someone on the moon who refuses to answer that phone...ALL 30 minutes for a simple enquiry......JUST PATHETIC non delivery of service

    TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

    Sir/Madam,

    This is to sincerely report to you the illegal duties of one of your employees the person in the name of Miss. Chaishe Philipine Mazibuko. who works with the late registration of birth certificate department of your office at 77 Harrison street, on 4th floor.


    I am writing this report with shame and bleeding heart as I cannot believe my eyes and ears with what I saw and heard from this lady at work yesterday with the way she treats tax payers who happen to need the assistance/services of the home affairs. We stood their in the que for more than 5years waiting to be attended to, only for the lady to be busy with her phone taking to her friends during work hours and also eating on duty, talking to people with attitude. The worse is that she will just come to the que and point at people wrongly and ask them to leave that she cannot attend to them just like that without a solid reason. This is very unfair, not considering where this families are coming from and how they transported themselves to get to that office carrying their innocent children and climbing the step's to 4th floor since the elevators are not working. After managing to get to 4th floor she will send them away as if she owns the office and talk to them rudely without considering their age and where they are from. Especially the foreigners.


    This lady is insultive, mannarless, rude, arrogance, lazy and above all a RACIST. I over heard her call somebody a fucking NIGERIAN and another gentle man from PAKISTAN she asked him to go back to his country, I could not help but to CRY with deep tears in my eyes. Now tell me what is the use of the home affairs in all the country in the world, if this lady should talk to foreigners in this manner. I am very bitter and cannot hold it and that is why I am writing this request that Miss. Chaishe Philipine Mazibuko be moved from that department's counter where she presently works to another place as she dose not have the good attitude to attend the innocent tax payers who pays her salary. I ask on behalf of so many millions of us out here that she be moved immediately, as she is not capable of the job assigned to her with a good attitude. This letter will be submitted to all the home affairs department in the world for people out side the country to know and see what is happening to us in South Africa. How can a RACIST be employed to assist the public especially dealing with foreigners, this is not right and must be delt with accordingly.


    Copies of this letter will be with my lawyers and relatives and other organizations should in-case anything happens to my life and that of my family, as she also threatened my life as she has all my details with her. She is dangerous and capable of anything. I am sending a copy also to your head office in PRETORIA. We need justice and justice is all we seek for.


    I pleading and seeking that justice be done urgently and thanking you in advance.


    SAY NO TO RACISM.

    SAY YES TO HARD WORK AND UNITY.

    IN THAT SAME SPIRIT OF UBUNTU.

    BAD SERVICE AND RACIAL DISCRIMINATION.

    TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

    Sir/Madam,

    Phones are not answered. Not even intra-governmental calls are taken seriously. On the plus side, though, the systems for crowd management are well executed even if you have to wait 4 hours to get done.

    Yesterday we stood almost 4hrs on the que waiting go home affair officials to help us to get birth certificates of my kids unfortunately they did not get them we were chased away telling us we have closed and we not working over time.home affairs stuff they have got attitude to the people especial on this deptment on the 4th flour that deals with birth certificates I recognized another lady on the counter she's a coloured she the one who chashed us.those people they don't want to wrk the leave one person on the counter to help people while others they sit at the back when it's time to go home they chase people to go home and come the nxt day.please deal with this mater asap we are tax payers of South Africa so we deserve a better service.remove those lazy people

    Bad service home affairs in Harrison st jhb

    Please try to answer your phones. i am happy with the overall service got my passport within 2 weeks. I did my passport during my lunch hour so that means your service is really quick.

    This is so ridiculous. What the HELL are these people doing in the Home Affairs Offices if they wont answer the phones. We are Taxpayers....they have jobs because of people like us but we don't get service from them when required. Melusi Gigaba better do something about these lazy bums. People across the world view South Africans as useless & lazy because of a few unprofessional bozos. What's amazing is that its not only one or two....its all of them....especially in the Gauteng Region.

    Phones ringing unanswered for 3 Days

    This is so ridiculous. What the HELL are these people doing in the Home Affairs Offices if they wont answer the phones.     Telephone Skills a Nightmare

    I was hoping to get the phone answered in 2 rings, so typical of the Goverment Department that dont answer their phone lines.
    What are people getting paid for that's within the employ. Nobody answers the telephone's to respond to a simple enquiry.

    Passport Enquiry

    i called and guess what i called in to enquire about my daughters passport and the phone was ansewered and i was transfered to the other department the phone kept on ringing i went back to the 4000 number and i was told that they are running short of stuff where is customer service? Government stuff are getting paid for nothing for real they will never make effort to help mxm

    On the rare occasion when I visited this branch, the experience was good. Parking can be an issue, so you will need to be vigilant as this is the inner city of Johannesburg. I'd also advise people not to carry valuables. Once you are inside the branch, things worked smoothly and service was good.

    Security outside can be an issue

    On the rare occasion when I visited this branch, the experience was good. Parking can be an issue, so you will need to be vigilant as this is the inner city of Johannesburg. I'd also advise people not to carry valuables. Once you are inside the branch, things worked smoothly and service was good.
