    NO SERVICE FOR 5 HOURS

    NO SERVICE AT ALL.
    STANDING IN THE QUE OUTSIDE IN THE COLD WITH A 1 WEEK OLD BABY FOR 5 HOURS.
    NO FORMS GIVEN TO BE FILLED IN. NO COMMUNICATIONS.
    VERY VERY BAD. HOPE SOMETHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT THIS.

    Wating in que for app. 3 hours outside the building. No one assisting with managing the que. No one providing pre requisite information before entry. Nothing Wat so ever. Just standing there and waiting hopefully not to be turned away after that long wait.

    bad customer service

    Wating in que for app. 3 hours outside the building. No one assisting with managing the que. No one providing pre requisite information before entry. Nothing Wat so ever. Just standing there and waiting hopefully not to be turned away after that long wait.

    Room to improve

    The service is not that good, but not that bad either. There is a lot of room to improve

    Wow, but people can complain!!!! I'm reading these comments and think what the hell is going on! Stop being negative. why must you fone Hime Affairs? Info is on web and u can query at customer service. They have a job to do and that's NOT answering your calls and dealing with stupid questions.

    Problem with people like you, is you think you so special and too good to stand in a Q.

    Well, I went with the whole family, yes I stood in a Q, it moved along, individuals were extremely helpful and the process was handled to the best of their ability, taking into consideration the resources they have and the masses they have to attend to.

    No service

    I have been to this office 3 times from last week I paid for my passport application but all cameras are not working it been 6 days now and they always say come tomorrow and tomorrow they should just close this thing down once and for all!!!

    No service, no assistance!

    I have been to the office 3x times to book a marriage date. On the second visit found out Fiance still reflects married, went back with original divorce decree turned away because no id copy but no one can assist in making a copy. Marriage officer is not helpful at all and the woman at the front desk has an attitude problem Queues all over the place, no order or direction. Security manages appointments poorly. I don't have hours and hours to sit at home affairs. You cannot make a booking with the marriage officer telephonically you have to go to the office and wait nothing less then an hour to make a booking????????????? and even if you could the phones remain unanswered. What kind of a joke is this? Fed up with this nonsense.

    Disgusting to say the least!

    Unacceptable

    No service, no assistance!

    I have been to the office 3x times to book a marriage date.     I really don't think there is a management team here. Horrible service ever.

    What a horrible service they have from the security guards to the staff. Old pensioners are expected to stand on the line. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and have to stay on long lines with no form of service. Only 2 people working yet the chairs are filled people waiting inside and outside. People that know the staff are actually served first they don't even have to stand in line. I find this very upsetting and find it very unprofessional.

    miss

    you dont need brains to work in this department. definitely don't know what they are dong. no order in this department. not proper supervision need better supervision so that that the staff can distinguish between who is in charge and who is not..... they all want to be equal but they cannot.... it doest work. then no one works......

    I have been phoning 011 724 5500 for a week and no one answers the phone?? All I want to know is what time they open on a Saturday and what I must take with when I want to get a passport? Can anybody assist??

    PATHETIC SERVICE

    Alberton home affairs- absolutely dismal!

    I have been standing in a queue for over an hour! Unfortunately for me I cannot do this any other day. Apart from the rude security, the numbers available "to confirm if the systems are online" just ring!!! It can now be declared that when a person works for the government , they clearly choose to do so because it means that they do not actually have to do any work and reep the benefits. Get paid for being absolutely obtuse!
