The sophisticated Pigalle group of restaurants is owned by the visionary and legendary
Gonçalves brothers, Naldo and Victor.
It was Naldo and Victor who founded the five original Vilamoura restaurants, which they sold in 1996. The brothers stayed on with the group until 2000.
In 2003 Pigalle Cape Town opened its doors and the brothers embarked on a new voyage in the restaurant world. Pigalle Cape Town was followed by Pigalle Bedfordview, Pigalle Sandton (both in 2005) and Pigalle Melrose in 2009.
While each Pigalle has its own unique ambience and décor, the extremely high standards set by the owners are upheld by the managing partners at the respective restaurants, Johnny Miranda at Sandton and Vasco Velho at Bedfordview.
Ryan Gonçalves, Naldo’s son has been involved with the group for four years and has demonstrated the same passion and drive as his father and uncle. Ryan continues help in the growth of the group and plays an integral role in the management of all the Pigalle Restaurants in Johannesburg.
The Gonçalves brothers have succeeded with each individual beautiful restaurant because of their continual hands-on approach, paying close attention to detail, having vision and the key: Exceeding all expectations on service delivery.
