    I want to compliment Red Square Clearwater on staff member Abigail (sorry don't know surname) she has just transferred from Cresta Centre. What a professional and knowledgeable staff member. I will certainly go back to that store just for her and her experience with the CLINIQUE range of products.
    I have been to Edgars several times the last few months looking for a foundation / base for a oily skin that is prone to break out. First recommendation is Continuous Coverage so light everyone thinks I am ill, then finally colour is correct and I keep breaking out.
    Finally solved my own problem - on the box it states for "DRY TO VERY DRY" skin!!! Can't your consultants read. Or do your customers have to do their own 'research' on Clinique products.
    Well at least their is one person that knows her products and that is Abigail !!!!

    Thank heavens for Abigail.
    Please pass this on to Clinique and Edgars Clearwater - they should be aware that their staff are grossly undertrained or just not interested!!!

    Red Square - Clearwater Mall

    Cell phone madness

    As all Edgars stores are pretty much the same I suppose this one suffices. However as each section has it's own manager, supervisor and staff I certainly hope that I don't need to visit the cell phone section again in a hurry. I bought a new prepaid cell phone and within 24 hrs had to have it exchanged as it was faulty. No problems at this point.2nd phone faulty within 7 days and once again back to the store to sort it out. It was at this point the staff quite clearly made the point it was not their problem and the phone would have to be returned to the supplier. An so the saga continued.     Edgars - Clearwater

    The edgars at clearwater is very spacious and has a lot to offer in terms of ladies clothing, shoes, bags etc. The staff could be a tad more friendly and helpful towards customers.
    The store is clean and I like the floor layout

    Honest and humble staff member

    I would like to pay a VERY BIG COMPLIMENT to one of the staff member’s at Edgars Clearwater Mall .

    I’m not sure of her surname but her name is Fikile she was stationed at the customer service section on the men’s floor yesterday (17 February 2015) at about 6:30.

    Last night I went to the Edgars Clear water. There was only one pay point opened. it was close to 5:30pm. At the mens till point ther were 2 cashiers both were helping a customer and the other was just killing time at his till. I waited almost 10 mins in the cue which consisted of myself and teh gentalmen ahead of me. Why couldnt the other 2 help me and the gentalman in front of me???. I went to find another pay point only to find this was the only one open in the mens area. When I got back there were 3 cashiers at the till points 2 were helping a couple and the other was killing time as before.I was the only one in the cue.The customers then forgot a garment they went to look for it in the store the cashier went to help them find the garment the other cashier waited for them and cashier no3 was still at his till. I asked the floor staff if i could go to another till point or atleast get a cashier to help me. i got no response. the customer returned with the cashier. He then came to telephone to make a call. When I asked if i should go another pay point he ignored me the first time, on my second attempt he said "Yes" imagine the nerve. I then went to the ladies paypoint downstairs were the were 6 people in the cue. Were was the customer service and the quality. What a waste of my time , Why open till 6 if you cant provide the customer service and quality tat the customers deserve.I would rather goout of my way to cresta or sandton in the future

    Poor service at till points

    Last night I went to the Edgars Clear water. There was only one pay point opened. it was close to 5:30pm.     Terrible service

    Last week we went shopping to this store for the first time. I must say it seems both the quality and service at Edgars is dropping. At this store we couldn't get a floor staff willing to help. Each person we tracked down, said its not their area and didn't even try to help us or find someone who could. We eventually found a manager who was very impatient and unhelpful. Disappointed and upset we left the store without purchasing anything and went to Cresta branch. Definitely will not return here.

    Worst Customer Service Department ever!

    Whenever I go to Edgars Clearwater to exchange or return an item, I usually wait up to an hour at customer service. There are about 8 counters yet there's only 3 people at the counters, customers are standing the extremely long queue complaining, and nothing is usually done. Not impressed with this branch.

    Melrose Arch - staff need training

    The staff at this store are a cross between those that know what they are doing and those that dont. unfortunately I always come across the later first. they are not aware return policy or stock available. so when requiring help make sure you ask 3 or 4 people as the staff are not knowledgable.

    So so ok

    Shopping for a wedding

    When I last was at Edgars, I needed a shirt and tie for a wedding. Once I had a shirt and tie in my hand, and was still browsing; I had a friendly Edgars sales assistant come up to me saying "excuse me sir, but I don't think those go well together". She then suggested a matching set with the colour scheme I was seeking, and I was once again a happy client.

    great for gift shopping

    Edgars is a great place to shop for gifts. You can choose from clothes, to toys, cds, make up , homeware and jewellery. Queues tend to be slow moving.

    Returns are a mission!

    Edgars has become highly cluttered. There is hardly any space to walk sometimes. The staff at Northgate are very rude. When items are priced wrongly they make it your problem. I don't like shopping for shoes at Sandton because there is only one assistant helping and it takes 15min to get the shoe you want. The customer care section is very slow. Even if there is only one person ahead of you in the queue it will take over 30 min to return items.

    rude, unfriendly staff

    the staff at edgars cresta are rude and unwilling to help. the standard of service has dropped tremendously since the take over of new management. i hate it when they speak in their languange not making head or tail of what they talking as when they look up at you it gives you some indication that you are the topic. there will be one till operator and about ten people waiting to be attended to, either they all standing around and chatting or there is just one cashier.

    This past weekend, I had the opportunity of going shopping with my daughter. We are going to Canada in a few weeks time and we needed to make some purchases. The Security guard was so busy chatting to somebody else, it ended our shopping spree on a very negative note. The Edgars where we went shopping is at Clearwater Mall.

    Not as great as the New Look

    This past weekend, I had the opportunity of going shopping with my daughter. We are going to Canada in a few weeks time and we needed to make some purchases. The Decor was great, but the service was not. I always manage to find great PJ's at Edgars, and this time was no exception. However, I also needed to buy some new bras. This has always been my LEAST favourite exercise, but reassured that Edgars now has a service where they measure the customer and assist them in their purchase of the perfect bra, I decided to go for it.     Pleasurable shopping experience

    I find it a pleasure to shop at Edgars. The different brand of clothing, kiddies wear, homeware, etc. appears in logical and dedicated areas. The staff are helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The merchandise is well priced.
