    Your staff advised me that my phone was not worth the cost to repair, but could not tell me what they thought could be the problem. I was advised to get a new phone. Well I went to apple Doctor and was advised that the only problem with the phone was that the backlight was not functioning and that it could be repaired. No problem.

    Bad Service Advise

    Your staff advised me that my phone was not worth the cost to repair, but could not tell me what they thought could be the problem. I was advised to get a new phone. Well I went to apple Doctor and was advised that the only problem with the phone was that the backlight was not functioning and that it could be repaired. No problem.

    PASSWORD

    I WAS GIVEN AN APPLE PHONE BY MY CHILDREN ,IN OCTOBER 2015 .TODAY I WENT TO THE I STORE IN CENTURY CITY TO UPDATE THE "WHATSAPP". THE LADY AT THE SERVICE DESK SAID SHE HAD TO HAVE MY PASSWORD ,WHICH UNFORTUNATELY I CANT FIND A RECORD OF .WOULD YOU HAVE KEPT A RECORD OF THE PURCHASE WITH MY PERSONAL DETAILS?
    IT WAS PAID FOR BY MY DAUGHTER ,MRS C ODDY . IF NOT, IS IT POSSIBLE TO RE-DO MY PASSWORD ETC ?

    So I handed in my phone on the 20th of December, a Tuesday, due to a malfunction problem and was told that I would receive it within 6-8 working days.
    I was told that it could even be there that Friday as "the tech guys in Johannesburg are quick", if not, it would be there following week Wednesday at the latest.
    It was not there. 6-8 days turned into 2 weeks and i decided to go to the store, I live in Patensie, not exactly around the corner and was told that "the delay is due to no stock of the replacement".
    All that way to be told thay could not help me further, they couldn't even give me a spare but rather gave me the managers card, who I couldn't even consult but had to wait until I got home to Email her.

    The person who had helped me had known from the beginning that it would probably have to be replaced due to obvious faults.
    Had he told me it would even take up to 3 weeks, which he had only stated 2 weeks later, I would not have handed in my phone as I have multiple tasks I have to organise and meettings to arrange.
    Only now, once I have contacted the manager and explained my situation have they provided me with a spare phone. 3 weeks later.

    And I thought the Malfunction of my first, brand new iPhone 6 was disappointing.

    My point is, don't say 6-8 working days when it could even take up to 3 weeks, it could change everything and even prevented this review.

    bad experience

    I popped into your Walmer Port Elizabeth branch today where I just had a quick question for your technical guys with regards to a screen protector. I also wanted to purchase a new cover and screen protector.

" There was 1 person in the store.

    I was so taken aback by her lack of service that I just walked out of the store, at a loss for words.

    I feel she could have at least just asked what in issue was to see if she could assist, cause she would have been able to, or at least put a notice up somewhere for customers to see if you are changing your policies.

    I am a loyal Apple fan and was so disappointed by the bad service. I do not know her name.
