Visited newly revamped Nino's some days ago for a bb (budget breakfast). New decor is a little bit 'off the wall' (seems that graphic designers are running out of ideas for this type of store these days ?] Not bad - food OK, price great - novel way of marketing "..if you buy a speciality coffee, you can get a budget breakfast for R X.." - very busy, friendly staff, best location. OK ?

Being at the foot of the Moses Mabhida Stadium is a perfect setting for any place, there are always people mulling around, looking at the shops and the atmosphere is really good. Bit pricey and service is very slow, but the food is good quality and it is an excellent place for tourists to hang out.

Whittled my time away @ Ninnos last nite, whilst my 3 kids rode their bikes...(Yes...I have tried...and apparently the way to stop a bike is NOT to hurl it to the left, whilst you fling yourself to the right!!) - so, back to Ninnos...

The service is to put it mildly execrable...I was shown to a table...awarded(!) a menu some 15 minutes later...and then nothing...I had apparently donned a cloak of Invisibility...the kids were thirsty 20 or so minutes later, so I found the manager and asked the lovely Zanele if the restuarant was self-service and could i just walk into the kitchen to make our meals??? Zanele really thought that i was serious and explained that they actually had wait-staff :)

At any rate, the foods good. Mushrooms a bit soggy and meatballs decidely cold in the centre, but the Vanilla chai was lovely...all the beverages were...

So yup a 3+ on the food and good luck on the service!!
