Cape Vidal is a magnificent resort and is known for its sport fishing and snorkelling. However there is a Park fee payable at the gate on arrival. What is so unique about cape Vidal is that you can observe marine life. At low tide the rock pools are teaming with schools of fish and makes it ideal for snorkelling, something the whole family can enjoy young and old. Uniquely on the high tide you have your sports fisherman launching their deep-sea boats to go game fishing. In the winter months you can go on the Advantage boat skipper Dannie Bennett and view Humpback Whales in the deep-sea. In the summer months you may see some of the beach has a small area cordoned off protecting the Leatherback and Loggerhead sea turtles nest of eggs. What makes this a five star beach is the fact that there’s a camping sites and log cabins.
