Needed to draw cash at Cresta so stopped at this convenient machine. After undertaking the withdrawal transaction, in the very final stage of the transaction (i.e. just the cash to be dispensed, and the receipt to be issued), the machine went into what I would describe as a 'loop', and just kept repeating "Your transaction is being processed" . This went on for several minutes, and whilst 'guarding' the machine, made a call to their toll free number, went through the numerous (illogical) press this for that options (more about which another review), and finally got through to the right person 'somewhere' in the telephony ether. The person was able to check the machine operation, and advised that it would need to be shut down and rebooted, and that my money would be refunded within 24 hours. Anyhow, the machine was duly shut down and rebooted, and no money dispensed, and no receipt. Then I waited ...... for days. After no adjustment on my account, I followed through by calling the call centre, eventually getting past the numerous (illogical) press this for that options ! I finally reported the problem to an operator (after having to disgorge my pedigree / DNA for security purposes). I was also advised that I should have obtained a reference number in the first instance ! (My cellphone bill and my stress level at that point notwithstanding). Finalised by saying that my 'issue' would be resolved by 5 January 2015 ! - but likely within 6 business days. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the operator and of course, am still waiting for the accounting adjustment !?! Really slipping down the slippery slope, Steve !!!
